This is “The Pleasure Seekers” by The System:

My friend Steve introduced me to this totally 80s piece of synth-pop after he heard it while watching re-runs of Miami Vice. Watching this video makes me think that when the guy playing the keyboards met the singer, he said, “Come with me, kid, and I’ll make you the next Prince.” Reading between the lines of their biography on AllMusic suggests that something along those lines, anyway, is probably at least close to the truth. Anyway, this is a little pop gem, and it surprised me to learn how many other musicians’ hits The System has been involved with.
