Italian band Uzeda was one of the highlights of the All Tomorrow’s Parties festival curated by Shellac a couple weeks back. Listen to that razor guitar! Listen to that slow-pulse of a bassline! Listen to the pounding drums! Listen to the anguished voice! Now listen to all the space in between. Uzeda isn’t just making a wall of noise; there’s a real tension between the noise and the space. I bought their t-shirt.
