Nation of Ulysses was a Washington, DC hardcore punk band. “Spectra Sonic Sound” is from the album 13-Point Plan to Destroy America. Ian Svenonius, the band’s frontman, has also written a couple of books, including Supernatural Strategies for Making a Rock ‘n’ Roll Group: A How-to Guide. It’s a very funny and very insightful read. For the second week in a row, I’ve used Song of the Week to dupe you into reading about a book. Sucker.
