I’ll be giving a talk/reading as part of the Literary Kitchen Festival. My event is Friday 20 June, from 7pm to 11pm. I’ll be sharing the stage with Adam Marek, Naomi Wood and Stuart Evers. For my part, I’ll be playing and talking about the number one hit of the 1890s, “After the Ball” and how I used it as one of the focal points for my novella, Sing for Life: Tin Pan Alley.
The event is at the Peckham Pelican in, uh, Peckham. Tickets are £5, £3 for concessions, and you can book yourself a place right here, right now.
This is one of a number of events the Literary Kitchen Festival is running between 16 and 22 June, and it’s also one of a number of spring and summer events featuring Black Hill Press writers, from Los Angeles to Prague and a few other stops in between.
