Each Friday I pick a song–new, old, borrowed, blue–that’s been on my mind and in my ears, and write a short post about it.

This is “Hot for Teacher” by Van Halen:

I’ve spent nearly every waking hour this week marking essays, and so have barely listened to music. In fact, other than listening to this song right now while put together this post, I’m not sure I’ve listened to ANY music this week.  This was the first educationally-related song that came to mind.  Also, Van Halen is awesome. Or was, until Diamond Dave left.  I was never a big fan of the Sammy Hagar era.
