Last week I took a train up to Reading to meet my buddy Fabian and see 1990s noiserock purveyors Terminal Cheesecake.  I didn’t really know anything about Terminal Cheesecake, and I didn’t really know anything about the other bands on the bill, either.  One of them was Workin’ Man Noise Unit.

One of the really special pleasures of (my) life is hearing live a band you’ve (I’ve) never heard at all, and having your (my) brains rocked to excitement.  Workin’ Man Noise Unit did just that for me last Thursday in Reading.  Long may the noise unit continue workin’, man.
