Last weekend I bought a compilation of Los Angeles punk recently released by the excellent Soul Jazz Records, Chaos in the City of Angels and Devils. It’s got lots of great stuff from X to the Germs to the Circle Jerks.  X’s John Doe has also recently published, along with Tom DeSavia, a history of L.A. punk, Under the Big Black Sun. “Nausea” is among my favorite songs by X.
