I recently reviewed Hypercolor’s eponymous album, and you can click here to read what I think of it. “Transit” is the eighth track on the ten-track album. I’ve mentioned in previous Song of the Week posts the influence of jazz, and free-jazz in particular, on the development of punk music.  With Hypercolor, you hear some of that influence (among others) coming back in the other direction.  That kind of cross-polination excites me.
